Have you tried the Las Charcas Mud Baths at Lo Pagan, about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Pinoso? Its a different experience and all free. Worth a go and good fun!

The mud baths contain minerals like sulfur, zinc, magnesium, and bromine that are said to draw out impurities from the skin, exfoliate dead skin cells, relax sore muscles and joint, improve skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis and relieve pain from rheumatoid arthritis.

When you arrive at the mud baths you will see the unusual sight of people young and old covered in mud and standing on the piers or walking along the promonade to let the mud dry.

The piers are specially built to allow access to the lagoon. When you get in you will be surprised how warm the water is. The heat comes from the mud, its lovely to sink your feet and knees into it. There is a smell of sulfer but it isn’t too bad. I’ve bathed in November and it was warm enough. The high salt content makes it very buoyant. Flamingos fly overhead in flocks, they live in the next bay.

You gather the mud yourself so take a container with you, an old icecream tub would be good. Cover yourself in mud and wait for it to dry, then wash it off in the lagoon. Your skin will feel amazing (its like having a whole body face mask). Once clean go across the board walk and have a splash in the beach opposite. Then you might deserve a beer in the beach bar there.
